Tony Magoo
Tony started his radio career in Niagara Falls New York in 1976 just in time to report on one of the largest snowstorms to cripple the Western New York area…the Blizzard of ’77. From Niagara Falls, Tony moved to Buffalo and did a stunt for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society that raised over $10,000. In 1983, he sat in every seat, all 80,020…a World Record… in Rich Stadium, home for the Buffalo Bills.
Tony stayed in the Buffalo area as an on-air personality for over 15 years, and has spent a large portion of his 35 year broadcast career on the road in other great markets that included, Nashville, Memphis, Detroit and Dallas. Tony’s radio career has been in all facets of music radio, and he loves the challenge and excitement of this new chapter in his life that Virtual News Center provides. Tony is married to a “Mississippi gal” so he says,”My traveling days are done.”
